I don't know if dating is difficult in all Pentecostal churches , but it seems in UPC it was. The church I went to was pretty small, and there just were not that many people to date . It seemed for both of my best friends, their desire for a relationship they couldn't find was what they were having issues with right before they left. They'd attend youth rallies out of town hoping to meet someone, but when it never happened, they decided to leave the church . Since the only other alternative was a wife not in church . Most people in the church I went to are all married or engaged now except one or two. But most of them had to go out of state to find someone in a church to marry. There also seems to be a common theme to find a bride from the Philippines, which I don't really understand.
